12. this water kettle should only be used indoors.
13. Do not place the device on hot fixtures, such as
a stove, a heater or a fireplace.
14. use the device only on a level, heat-resistant surface.
15. before connecting to the mains supply, check whether
the type of current and the mains voltage match the
information on the rating plate.
16. For additional protection, it is recommended that a
residual current device (rcD) with a rated release
current of no more than 30 ma be installed in the circuit
being used. the installation should be performed by an
experienced electrician.
17. regularly check the mains plug and the mains cable.
if the mains cable of this device has been damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer
service department, or a similarly qualified person, in
order to avoid hazards.
18. avoid damaging the cable through crimping it, folding
it, or rubbing it on sharp corners. Keep it away from hot
surfaces and open flames.
19. Lay the cable in such a manner that unintentional
pulling of or tripping over the cable is not possible.
20. Do not pull on the mains cable to remove the mains
plug from the socket and do not wrap the mains cable
around the device.
21. When using an extension cord, it must be suitable for
the corresponding power requirements.
22. the device should not be operated with an external
time-switch or separate remote control system.
23. never leave the device unattended while it is in use.
24. Do not place the device under kitchen cupboards or the
like. these can be damaged by the escaping steam.
