4.1 Functional control
Note:
In order to determine the present charge current in
watt, the currently flowing solar power (charge
current) in A needs to be multiplied by the current
battery voltage in V.
It is extremely rare that the thus calculated power
corresponds to the nominal power of the module. With
solar systems in connection with battery systems, this
is perfectly normal.
On an ideal sunny day, the charge current measured
will be around 70% - 80% of the nominal power.
