Wir bestätigen, daß dieses Testo-Produkt
unter Beachtung eines zertifizierten Quaitäts-
sicherungssystems nach DIN ISO 9001
abgeglichen wurde.
Die dafür verwendeten Meßeinrichtungen
werden regelmäßig kalibriert und sind rück-
führbar auf die nationalen Normale der Physi-
kalisch Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB)
Deutschlands oder auf andere nationale Nor-
male. Wo keine nationalen Normale existieren,
entspricht das Meßverfahren den derzeit gülti-
gen technischen Regeln und Normen.
Dieses Kalibrier-Protokoll belegt die Einhal-
tung der von uns zugesagten Toleranzen.
Sehr gerne informieren wir Sie über Kalibrier-
Zertifikate, die die Toleranzen des ge-sam-
ten Meßsystems (Meßgerät und Fühler)
beinhalten.
Dieses Zertifikat benötigen Sie, wenn das
Meßsystem in qualitätsrelevanten Prozessen
innerhalb eines nach DIN ISO 9001 zertifi-
ziertem Unternehmen eingesetzt wird.
Unsere Kalibrierlabors für Temperatur, Feuch-
te und Strömung sind vom Deutschen Kali-
brierdienst (DKD) akkreditierte Kalibrierlabors.
DKD-Kalibrierscheine werden für Messungen
gefordert, bei denen die Genauigkeit eine ent-
scheidende Rolle spielt.

515 is used to measure all the differential pres-
sures needed when setting modern heating
systems. The automatic switch-over measuring

The pressure is measured in a pressure load
cell using a membrane spring which is displa-
ced according to the pressure difference bet-
ween the two chambers in the pressure load
cell. Using an inductive distance measuring
system this displacement is converted to an
electric signal.
We confirm that this Testo product was cali-
brated under the observation of a DIN ISO
9001 certified quality assurance system.
The measuring installations used for this cali-
bration are calibrated regularly and can be
traced back to the national standards of the
German Federal Physical and Technical Insti-
tution (PTB), or to other national standards.
Should no national standards exist, the mea-
suring procedure corresponds with the cur-
rently valid technical regulations and stan-
dards.
This certificate is required only if the measu-
ring system is to be used in processes rele-
vant to quality in a company certified to DIN
ISO 9001.
Our calibration laboratories for temperature,
humidity and velocity are calibration laborato-
ries accredited by the German Calibration
Service (DKD).
DKD calibration certificates are required for
measurements where accuracy plays a deci-
sive rôle.

Initial operation
Switch on instrument: Press "On" button
Switch off instrument:
Press "Off" button
If the "LOBAT" symbol appears in the display,
change the battery. The battery section is loca-
ted on the right side of the instrument.
If the pressure connections are open and zero
does not appear in the display proceed as
described under "Zero point adjustment". The
instrument is then ready to operate.
The display is lit up if the light button is kept
pressed.

Zero point adjustment
The instrument has an electronic zero point
adjustment function. An adjustment is recom-
mended before every measurement.
The zero point adjustment is carried out by
pressing the ">0<" button. The pressure
connections should be open.
The position of the instrument should not be
altered following zero point calibration.
Errors occurring due to overloading of the load
cell cannot be compensated by the electronics.
The zero point can no longer be adjusted. In
this case the instrument should be returned to
the factory.
