When after 10 hours charging is not deactivated, take the accumulator out of the
charger. This could be an indication for a bad or defect accumulator. The accumulator is
to be exchanged.
The LEDs have the following functions:
Constant green licht:
No accumulator available, reverse polarity or charging ended
Green red blinking:
Charging in process
The charging time it takes to reach the charge end voltage depends on several parameters,
such as e.g.
• the capacity (Ah, the greater, the longer the charging time),
• the charging state of the accumulator (full, half-full or empty),
• the environmental temperature (this should preferably be 20 - 25°C) and
• the general condition (age) of the accumulator.
The charging time focuses on the above mentioned parameters and can be roughly
calculated by means of the following formula (for a rough time estimation):
Charging time (in hours [h]) =

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Besides occasional cleaning, the device is maintenance-free. There are no user-serviceable
parts inside the product. Therefore never open the product.
• Disconnect the product from the mains and remove any inserted rechargable batteries
before each cleaning.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. You can easily remove dust
using a long-haired, soft and clean brush.
DISPOSAL
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted rechargeable batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
b) Rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
