Important hint: The under frame should be used in combination with the corresponding mattresses only. Please pay
attention to the following:
• ThevoActiv 50 up to 50 kg (110.2 lb) body weight
• ThevoActiv 100 from 50 to 100 kg (110.2 to 220.5 lb) body weight
• ThevoActiv 135 from 100 to 135 kg (297.6 lb) body weight
If the body weight is distributed very unequally, (i.e. strong pelvis or stomach, leg amputation) a mattress for higher
weight should be used.
Indications / contraindications
Indications
ThevoActiv is suitable for the following clinical pictures:
• Prevention of pressure sores (incl. high-risk patients)
• Pressure ulcer patients up to and incl. grade IV acc. to EPUAP
• Pain patients, e.g.
- Osteoporosis
- Rheumatism
- Soft tissue rheumatism
- Gout
- Arthritis
- Tumour patients
• Perception disorders, e.g. after stroke
Contraindications
The use of ThevoActiv is not recommended for the following clinical pictures:
• Lyell's Syndrome
• Status after rotation flap plastics
• Large area 3rd degree burns at the back
Hint: Referring to the previous practical use and several tests executed, we are not knowledgeable of any problem in
the use of this product.

Self test / service LED

Every time the system is switched on (power switch), an automatic self test is carried out, indicating, if applicable, the
following errors by the red service LED (wrench-symbol):
• Continuous flashing
Not both of the cable harnesses are plugged in.
Note: First plug in the cable harnesses, then press the power switch!
• Double flash:
The number of connected valves on the left and right side does not match.
• Permanent glow:
Compressor is due for maintenance. Call the service hotline!
Furthermore:
The service LED also flashes temporarily (3 seconds), if you try to change the movement pattern or speed while the
system is operating.

Conditions of warranty

Thomashilfen takes full responsibility for the quality of ThevoActiv. All materials as well as the processing have been
chosen under the highest production standards. All systems have been tested very carefully before leaving the factory.
Thomashilfen offers a guarantee of 24 months.
You should therefore carefully keep all documents on ThevoActiv. The guarantee covers all claims on the basis of production
or material failures, which impair functionality. Excepted are wear or tear caused by over or inappropriate use.
