2. Setting the correct radio
channel
A special digital transmission pro-
cess ensures that the radio signals
are picked up without errors. This
process also makes it possible to set
10 different radio channels.
When supplied from the factory, all
Radio Doorbell Transmitters are set
to channel 0.
It is only necessary to set units to
other channels if you have several
different users operating units in the
same building.
Set the channel you want by adju-
sting the channel selector switch on
the left-hand side of the unit to the
required channel number. Use a
small screwdriver to adjust this
switch.
All transmitters and receivers must
be set to the same channel.
3. Installing the doorbell cable
Plug the 2.5 mm jack plug of the
doorbell cable into the socket on the
underside of the Radio Doorbell
Transmitter. Connect the two bare
wires to your doorbell.

4. Systems with two different
door chimes
If your intercom is capable of diffe-
rentiating between 2 different door
chimes (e.g. the door to your flat and
the entrance door to the building),
you can convey the 2 door chimes to
the Radio Doorbell Transmitter using
2 connection cables.
To do this, connect the 2.5 mm jack
plugs of the 2 connectioncables into
the sockets on the Radio Doorbell
Transmitter. Route the cables to the
2 doorbells and connect the 2 pairs
of bare wires to the doorbell swit-
ches.
Important: The triggering system is
only suitable for connection to low-
voltage doorbell systems. The input
voltage must be at least 3 volts and
no more than 15 volts. It is possible
to connect to either alternating or
direct current voltage.
Never connect the thin cable to
mains voltage (230 V ( 10%).
Risk of fatal injury and irrepara-
ble damage to the transmitter!
