After each use/interruption, always set the hair dryer slide switch [6.1] to off (position 0).
Selecting the function
> If the unit becomes overheated, it switches off automatically for your safety.
> Remove the plug from the socket and let the unit cool down.
> Before switching the unit on again, check the air outlet [2] and the filter [3] for blockage (e.g.
sucked-in lint, dust, hair).
Note
For best results with the ion technology, use the hair dryer without an attachment.
Select function
The hair dryer has 2 functions that you can select via the toggle switch [8] and the cold button [4]:
Function Description
Protect-
Protection function:
For drying hair gently. The temperature is limited to about 55 to 62 °C and held

constant.
The function can be switched on using the toggle switch [8] (level 1).
Cold air:
The cold level offers the perfect styling finish. It cools down your hair and holds
it in place for a better result.
The cold setting can be activated at any time by pressing the button [4]. Once you
press the button again, the device returns to the previously selected heat setting.
Accessories
The following attachments are provided:
• Volume diffuser [1]: Gives the hairstyle volume and vitality.
• Professional nozzle [11]: Enables targeted and precise styling and shaping.

After use

• Remove the plug from the socket after each use.
• Let the unit cool down.
• Do not wind the mains cable around the unit!
• Store the unit in a dry place that is out of reach of children.
• The unit can be hung on a hook by the hanging eyelet [9].
