Notes on safe operation

Assembly and disassembly, commissioning and clamping tools may be performed only by
qualified specialist personnel.
Observe the minimum clamping depth. Failure to comply with the minimum clamping
depth can result in breakage of the expansion sleeve and loss of accuracy.
Please consider the technical data of the machine interface.
A control of the clamping force should be done before the first use, after appr.
The clamping screw must be turned in with an Allen key to the limit stop.
In case of use of SCHUNK intermediate sleeves, the intermediate sleeves have to be inser-
ted to the face stop.
Use only SCHUNK intermediate sleeves!
The vent screw of the hydraulic system is protected with a pin or resin.
Don't remove this protection!
Observe the maintenance and care instructions, see chapter Care, Storage and Main-
tenance [} 25].This maintenance and care information refers to a normal environment.
