5 Changing the positioner

5.1 1-part positioner in accordance with M22520/2 (refer to Figure 3)
Please note!
In the operating condition of the tool, the positioner can be adapted in accordance
with M22520/2
· Turn the tool onto the rear.
· Insert the 1-part positioner with the bayonet pin into
the adapter ring (A) and rotate through 90°.
· Removal of the locator is carried out in the reverse
sequence.
5.2 4-part positioner (refer to Figure 4)
· Release retaining screws 1 and 2 using an Allen
key AF 2.5 mm until the adapter ring (A) can be
removed.
· Remove the adapter ring (A).
· Replace retaining screw 2 by the shoulder bolt
supplied and attach to the opposite side using a
retaining ring.
· Leave retaining screw 1 in the hole and attach on
the opposite side using a retaining ring.
· Attach the positioner to retaining screw 1, as
necessary hold using a second Allen key on the
opposite side.
· For crimping, the respective pin (B) must be
positioned to align with the mark (arrow) on
retaining screw 2.
· Subsequently, press pin (B) into the locator until it engages in the lowest position.
· To continue the operation, refer to Section "Work steps when crimping".
