Setup Options and Operation
When turning the PIR sensor to the left (when viewed from the front), two rotary
controls will be visible. They are used to set the on-time and the brightness threshold
to activate the light.
a) Setting the on-time (rotary control with time symbol)
This control is used to set the duration of the on-time (a duration from 10 ±5 seconds to
4 ±1 minutes can be set). Rotating to the left in anti-clockwise directions reduces the on-time,
rotating to the right in clockwise direction increases it.
If the PIR sensor detects another temperature change within the detection range
during the on-time, the on-time is restarted.
Only if there is no more thermal change in the detection area during the on-time, will
the LED outdoor spotlight go out.
b) Setting the threshold values for surrounding brightness (rotary control
with sun/moon symbol)
The rotary control is used to set the threshold for the surrounding brightness over which the
PIR sensor is active to switch on the LED outdoor spotlight when a thermal change is detected
within the detection range.
Turning the rotary knob counter-clockwise to the left, in the direction of the moon symbol,
means the motion detector activates when it is darker; turning it clockwise to the right, in direc-
tion of the sun symbol, activates the motion detector in brighter conditions.
c) Alignment of the PIR Sensor
The horizontal detection angle of the PIR sensor is 130°, the
vertical detection angle 60°.
When turning the PIR sensor to the left or right, you can adjust
the horizontal detection range to the local conditions.
A small, round marking on the front of the PIR sensor
(see arrow marking in the image on the right) indi-
cates the middle of the horizontal detection angle.
d) Alignment of the light head
The light head can be rotated to the left or right and tilted up and down. In this way, you can set
the area to be illuminated perfectly.

Function test

For a function test, turn the rotary control for the brightness threshold all the way to the end
towards the sun symbol. The rotary control for the on-time should be in its lowest settings
(rotate it to the end in counter-clockwise direction to the left).
Now cross the detection range. The light of the LED outdoor
spotlight switches on, if the PIR sensor detects a thermal
change within the detection range.
Every time a thermal change is detected, a red LED flashes
briefly at the front of the PIR sensor, see arrow marking in the
image on the right.
If you stand still (and the PIR sensor no longer detects a thermal
change), the light should go out after a few seconds.

Care and Cleaning

• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since
these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste. Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
