Final assembly of flight model
The flight model has to be mounted ready-for-flight for reasons of transport. Please proceed as follows.
To reach the retaining screws of the stabili-
sers,release the two ball joints and lever the
rotor blade carefull from the ball bearings of the
drive shaft.
The rotor blades have to be balanced before
putting these back on to the rotor shaft.
Use the blade of a carpet knife or a razor blade
for this(!). Put the rotor blade holder exactly on to
the centre of the blade as illustrated.
Any difference in weight between the
two rotor blades can balanced by
gluing on thin adhesive strips.

Put the helicopter on a level area.
Determine the exact centre of the stabiliser lin-
kage by measuring .
Any deviation from the centre-point
can lead to unbalance and thus to
unfavourable flight behaviour.
Fasten the stabiliser by means of the two grub
screws with the aid of a hexagon wrench.
Put the rotor on the ball bearings and press it
firmly until it snaps in noticeably.
Push the two ball joints on to the rotor bracket
until this snaps in noticeably.
Make sure that the seating of the ball
joints is secure as otherwise the heli-
copter cannot be steered
Remove the plastic fuselage from the helicopter.
Kanal 3
Das rechte Steueraggregat steuert in der Horizontalbewegung die "Rollfunktion" proportional.
Diese Funktion ist erforderlich, um mit dem Helikopter seitwärts fliegen zu können. Die Nase des Heliko-
pters zeigt weiterhin nach vorne.
Hebelbewegung nach links
= Helikopter neigt sich nach links und fliegt linkswärts
Hebelbewegung nach rechts
= Helikopter neigt sich nach rechts und fliegt rechtswärts.
Kanal 4
Das linke Steueraggregat steuert in der Horizontalbewegung die "Ruderfunktion" proportional.
Diese Funktion ist erforderlich, um den Helikopter mit der "Nase" in die Richtung zu drehen, in die Sie flie-
gen möchten. Dies erfolgt durch die Steuerung des kleinen Heckrotors.
Hebelbewegung nach links
= Helikopter dreht sich mit der Nase nach links.
Hebelbewegung nach rechts
= Helikopter dreht sich mit der Nase nach rechts.
Die Kanäle 5 und 6 sind nicht belegt und werden zum Flugbetrieb nicht benötigt.
Servo-Reverse
An der Fernsteuerung können die Servowege für die Kanäle 1-4 umgekehrt werden. Dies hat zur Folge,
dass die Hebelbewegungen in umgekehrter Weise funktionieren (Reverse).
Die Schiebeschalter befinden sich von Werk aus im "Normalbetrieb" (NOR.).
Um die Servowege umzuschalten, schieben Sie den gewünschten Kanalschalter mit einem spitzen Gegen-
stand in Position "Reverse" (REV.).
