Product description

The AKS 3004/3504 is a safety ball coupling with anti-
snaking device and stabiliser.
It is an integral part of the trailer towing device and is
used for connecting the trailer to the towing vehicle.
Functional principle
Following coupling and activation of the stabiliser han-
dle, four special friction linings are pressed against the
trailer hitch ball of the car from the left, right, behind and
in front. Oscillation or pitching motion will take effect au-
tomatically reduces. The maximum braking torque of the
linings must not exceed 300 Nm.

Intended use

The AKS is intended for installation on drawbars or type-
approved overrun devices.
Possible misuse
The AKS must not be used for:
Class A50-1 trailer hitch balls (
Screwed-in balls that are not secured with a
