Determination of the Impact Duration (GDS 30)
Example: Bolt M 24 (high-strength)/Property class 8.8 ⇒ 650 Nm
In the GDS 30 diagram, 650 Nm result to ⇒ 0.8 seconds
As a control measure, always check the tightening torque with a torque wrench.
Tips
The torsion bars with the respective diameters
(torsion Ø) limit the tightening-torque. The torsion
bars are dimensioned so that the diameter (tor-
sion Ø) must correspond approximately with the
core diameter of the bolt. The impact duration is
to be determined by trials.
For suspension (with a balancer), a suspension
eyelet 1 is attached at the centre of gravity of the
machine.
An angle piece (accessory) offers additional pos-
sibilities to change the position of the handle.
At temperatures below the freezing point, it is rec-
ommended to first operate the impact wrench at
no load for approx. 3 minutes in order to improve
the lubricating capacity of the machine. After-
wards, begin with the driving work.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep
the machine and the ventilation slots clean.

given on the nameplate of the machine.

necting a new 3-pin plug to the 2-wire cable.
The wires in the cable are coloured according to
the following code:
Do not connect the blue or brown wire to the
earth terminal of the plug.
Important: If for any reason the moulded plug is
removed from the cable of this machine, it must
be disposed of safely.
