Installation with „EASY PLUG CABLE"
To simplify installing to an OEM or aftermarket
radio the P-DSP can also be connected using the
optional EASY PLUG cable. The processor can be
supplied with both power and radio loudspeaker
signals via this cable. No factory wires or plugs
need to be cut using this connection method.

1. Once the radio has been removed using the right
tools disconnect the OEM harness from the radio.
Connect the vehicle cable the ISO jack connectors
of the HELIX EASY PLUG Cable - see Fig. 3
2. Connect the ISO EASY PLUG cable plug/s to the
car radio - see Fig. 3
You may need a tailored adaptor here depending
on vehicle type. Please use the Audiotec Fischer
adaptor list to check whether you need an additional
adaptor for connection. Check online at www.au-
diotec-fischer.com or www.helixhifi.com
(US) in the Plug & Play section.
3. Connect the high level plug
supply plug to the P-DSP inputs - see Fig. 3.

4. Note: When connecting the power supply the
constant and switched 12 volt wires may be re-
versed depending on vehicle type. The P-DSP
should not be plugged into the power supply via the

If your OEM radio does not use ISO plugs you can
use the EASY PLUG cable and one of our many
vehicle specific adaptors. You can check whether
there's an adaptor for your vehicle type in the list
on our homepage

Connection to an OEM radio is detailed below.

This cable is used to switch the assignment of
constant power cable and the ignition power
cable (required on some vehicle)

Connect this plug to the highlevel input of the
P-DSP
B Power connector
Connect this plug to power input of the P-DSP
ignition cable as this may cause interference. Be-
fore connecting the HELIX EASY PLUG cable to the
P-DSP, verification of the constant 12 volt wire must
. be made between the Blue

the harness with a voltmeter. The constant 12 volt
wire will show voltage even with the vehicle ignition
turned off. Once the correct wire is identified con-
nect the Red wire w/ jack
