DRY IRONING
Place the steam control button (4) on
SPRAY FUNCTION
This function allows moistening the laundry items when steam ironing and dry ironing.
Press the spray button (6) in pulses to activate this function and direct the water jet
onto the most resistant creases.
SUPER-STEAM FUNCTION
Press the super-steam button (5) in pulses: the iron will discharge a high powered
instantaneous jet of water.
Note:
• Do not press the button (5) too many times in succession to prevent non-vaporised
drops of water from leaking.
• Use this function only with the knob (9) positioned on the ••• MAX symbols
• Mineral particles may be discharged at each use of the super-steam function, do
not discharge the first jets of steam directly onto the items to iron.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before carrying out any cleaning operation, disconnect the plug from the
power outlet and wait for the appliance to completely cool down.
• Clean the body of the iron with a soft dry cloth.
• Regularly clean the soleplate using a normal non-abrasive sponge to protect its sur-
face.
• Never use chemical or abrasive substances (e.g. steel wool).
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
AFTER USE
• Disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
• Empty the tank
• Always put the steam control button (4) in
• Let the iron cool down completely.
• Wind the cord around the back part of the appliance.
• Store the iron in a vertical position.
INFORMATION FOR USERS. In accordance with European Directives 2002/95/CE,
2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE on the restriction of the use of dangerous substances in
electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal. The barred symbol of the
rubbish bin shown on the equipment indicates that, at the end of its useful life, the product must
be collected separately from other waste. Therefore, any products that have reached the end of
their useful life must be given to waste disposal centres specialising in separate collection of
waste electrical and electronic equipment, or given back to the retailer at the time of purchasing new similar
equipment, on a one for one basis. The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the
equipment sent to be recycled, treated and disposal of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to
preventing possible negative effects on the environment and health and optimises the recycling and reuse
of components making up the apparatus. Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of
the administrative sanctions according to the laws in force.
