Important Information
EXPERT
Speed controlled volume
SCV = Speed Controlled Volume
The car radio is well-suited to most types of
signal generators.
Your vehicle dealer can inform you whether
your vehicle is suitable for "speed-controlled
volume regulation".
Conditions:
A speed-controlled signal must be present at
the SCV connection!
In vehicles with an electronic speedometer,
on-board computer, cruise controller etc., a
signal generator is already present.
If the signal generator is already connected to
the vehicle earth, the output of the signal
generator only needs to be connected to the
SCV connection.
í
Do not connect the signal generator
output to the vehicle earth!
After connecting, check the speedometer
and the ABS of the vehicle.
If there is no signal generator, it can be retro-
fitted in most cases.
