DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE

INSTALLING/REPLACING THE ILLUMINANT

DANGER! Electric shock caused by high voltages
Within the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Always disconnect the
device from the mains socket prior to installing or replacing a lamp.
WARNING! Risk of burns at the surface and in case of inappropriate handling of the
illuminant
The device and the illuminant become very hot during operation. Let the device cool down for at
least 5 minutes before replacing the illuminant.
The device is supplied without illuminant. The matching illuminant types are indicated in the "Accessories"
section. Do not install illuminants with a higher wattage! Illuminants with a higher wattage generate
temperatures the device was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to
warranty. Observe the safety instructions of the illuminant manufacturer.
1 Unscrew the knurled screws (3) and remove the housing cover (1) in which the lampholder is located.
2 If necessary, remove the old illuminant from the socket and carefully insert the new illuminant. Avoid
touching the glass blub bare-handed.
3 Reassemble the housing parts and screw them tightly with the knurled screws (3).
