• Avoid sucking in larger rocks!
• Use: for sucking in dirty water with at most 5% coarse material (dense material, no
stones)
• Extractable liquids/installation. Any kind of dirty water, also with fibroid particles (leaves,
paper, etc.), dirty liquids (from silos).
• All other liquids are principally not permitted. Not suited for biological sewage
treatment plants and cesspits.
• It is not permitted to convey any flammable liquids or gaseous and/or explosive
substances with these pumps.
• The maximum temperature of the liquid to be pumped may not exceed +35 °C in
permanent operation.
Installation/commissioning
Delivery of the pump includes the electric cable HO5 RN-F with plug and 1
socket for pipe 32. Install the required drain pipe and reinforce the seal with a pipe clamp.
The water distribution also depends on the diameter of the drain pipe, amongst other
things. A large diameter equals a large delivery rate, while a smaller diameter results in
a lesser delivery rate. Submerge the pump in the liquid to be pumped out (observe the
maximum pressure height).
Attention! Do not let the pump run dry.
The pump is put into operation by plugging the plug into the corresponding outlet. Do
not lift or transport the pump by the cable. Use the integrated handle. If the pump is
submerged, use a rope or similar if required and attach this to the handle.
In case of a muddy, sandy or gritty bottom, the pump must be suspended on a rope or
chain and/or placed on a sufficiently wide base plate to operate it when submerged.
Sand and other abrasive substances reduce the service life of the hydraulic components
as well as of the pump seals and must therefore be avoided. In case of temperatures
below zero, the pump must be removed from the liquid to be pumped. The pump must
not be subjected to frost under any circumstances. The pump must be drained and moved
to a place protected from frost. For easier filling of the pump, we recommend letting the
air escape by submerging the pump with the drain muff pointing upwards.
