Cable strain relief

The folding covers on the back of the monitor are to take the strain off the cable.
After connecting the cable, close both covers until the click into place.

Electrical connections

The electrical connection depends on the monitor operating mode. Cameras
connected are now supplied with power by the monitor (IN-1, IN-2 connections).
Video input IN-3 can be used to connect video sources with their own power
supply (e.g. Motec video control units in MBxxxx, MVCUxxxx and
MVCDxxxx ranges).

10.1 Power supply from vehicle on-board network

As a display for up to 3 video sources, the MD3071A-V can be supplied from a
vehicle on board network (Connection P). The 6-pin connection P also incorpo-
rates control lines POC, SEL-1, SEL-2 and SEL-3/CTRL-OUT(12 V).
Units are connected using the system cable provided. If the cable is shortened,
make sure that the fuse is not removed.
