Check all inlet pipes to the pump.
– Air within the system
Appliance ventilation:
Leaks in the water inlet
Danger
Risk of injury on account of emanating high
pressure jet! Repairs may be carried out
only in the water inlet (below the dotted line).
Dismantle the leaking part in the water
inlet.
Wind teflon tape around the outer
threading of the concerned part of the
component group.
Note
Wind the teflon tape on the outer threading
in such a way that it has the same rotation di-
rection as the component that is to be
screwed on it. A role of teflon tape is includ-
ed in the standard delivery.
Dismantle component.
If malfunction can not be fixed, the de-
vice must be checked by customer serv-
ice.

Warranty

– The warranty terms published by our
competent sales company are applica-
ble in each country. We will repair poten-
tial failures of the appliance within the
warranty period free of charge, provided
that such failure is caused by faulty ma-
terial or defects in fabrication.
– The warranty comes only into effect if
your vender fills out the supplied reply
card completely at purchase, stamps

and signs and you send it to the local dis-
tribution company of your country.
– In the event of a warranty claim please
contact your dealer or the nearest au-
thorized Customer Service centre.
Please submit the appliance, including
all accessories, and the proof of pur-
chase.

General notes

Accessories and Spare Parts

– Only use accessories and spare parts
which have been approved by the manu-
facturer. The exclusive use of original ac-
cessories and original spare parts
ensures that the appliance can be oper-
ated safely and troublefree.
– At the end of the operating instructions
you will find a selected list of spare parts
that are often required.
– For additional information about spare
parts, please go to the Service section at
www.kaercher.com.
Guidelines for liquid rays
– For operating this unit in Germany, the
"Guidelines for Fluid Sprays" published
by the Hauptverband der gewerblichen
Berufsgenossenschaft (Association of
Trade and Vocational Co-operatives) is
applicable (the same can be obtained
from Carl Heymanns Verlag, Köln,
www.heymanns.com).
– The accident prevention regulation
(BGR 500) "Work with liquid rays" is val-
id. High pressure spraying units must be
checked every 12 months in accordance
with these guidelines by an expert and
the result of this check must be written
down.
