3. Disconnect the charging plug from the charging station.
4. Place the protective cap over the charging socket to limit exposure to dust and rain.

Troubleshooting

If the charging does not start, or an error is indicated by a continuous red light in the status indicator.
Warnings/error messages will be displayed in ZapCloud/ZapCharger app.
No light:
• The charging station has no power from the installation.
Green/blue light:
• Verify that the charging cable is plugged all the way in on the charging station.
• Verify that the vehicle is configured for the immediate start of charging.
Red light:
• Disconnect the charging cable. If the light in the status indicator turns green reconnect the
charging cable. If the charging doesn't start and the light turns red again this indicates a possible
fault on the charging cable or car.
• The status indicator light don't turn green after disconnecting the charging cable, check fuses, as
described in the section Check fuses inside the charging station.
Red flashing light:
• Authentication failed - verify your RFID tag/charging card is paired to your user profile.
• Verify your user profile has been permitted with access to this installation in ZapCloud from
Admin/installation owner.
Should this not work please note serial number on your charging station and contact support as
described in Support and Repair section. Placement of serial number shown in illustration below.
If the charging station has been disconnected from the power grid, it will take 2-3 minutes for the

charging station to start up again.
