Operation

Carrying out measurements

Before commissioning, observe the intended use as well as
the safety instructions and technical data.
Use the On/Off switch to switch on the instrument.
Remove the protective cap from the light sensor and align this
so that the light strikes the light sensor, aligned horizontally,
vertically. Thereby, prevent shading the light sensor by your
own body.
Once the measurement is complete, switch off the instrument
(On/Off switch) and install the protective cap on the sensor.
Measurement range (manual / automatic)
After switching on the instrument, the measurement device is
always in the automatic measurement range. By pressing the
button "RAN", the measurement range switches to manual.
By again pressing the pushbutton, the measurement range and
the decimal point (20.00; 200.0; 2000; 20.000; 200.000) chang-
es. If the measurement value is outside the measurement
range, "OL" appears on the display. Keep the button "WRAN"
pressed until the corresponding manual measurement range is
set, or until "AUTO" appears on the display and the automatic
measurement range is reset.
