An oil check has to be made in regular intervals. To do that lossen the screw (Pos.-no. 6),
screw of the guiding handle (Pos.-no. 5), place the tool in a vertical position with the
crimping head pointing downwards, remove the oil plug and check the oil level and if
neccessary fill the tank up to the brim. After servicing the tool, screw the guiding handle on
again and fix it with the screw.
Attention
Spilled hydraulic oil has to be absorbed immediately.
After one year we recommend to forward the tool back to the manufacturer for a complete
check-through.
5.5. Oil changing cycles
The hydraulic oil has to be completely changed annually or after 10.000 compressions
if the tool is frequently used. We recommend to have the service done in specialised
companies where the safe disposal of the oil is guaranteed.

Please do only use clean, proper hydraulic oil.
(AVIA HVI 15 and other Hydraulic oils of similar quality)
