Wall Mounting Instructions for a Wall with Wooden Stud Spacing other than 16"

Prior to mounting your SkiErg to a wall with stud spacing other than 16" you must provide a solid attachment point by first
securing a wooden mounting plate to the wall. This wooden plate should be 1.5" thick and suitable for receiving the hanger
screws (provided in parts bag) which will hold the SkiErg. You will need to provide lag screws and washers to attach this
mounting plate to the wall.
1. Determine the location of the studs in your wall. Mark the center of the studs. Measure the distance between them.
2. Make 4 marks on each piece of wood 1" from the top, 1" up from the bottom, and separated by the stud spacing
in your wall.
3. Drill through holes at each of these locations.
4. Install the pieces of wood such that the center line of the top piece is 86" above the floor, and the lower piece
is resting on the floor. (Note, if you have a wooden baseboard, you may attach the SkiErg directly to the baseboard.)
5. You may now follow steps 2–4 from the previous SkiErg mounting instructions using the mounting hardware
provided and the 1/2" wrench from the SkiErg Assembly Parts Bag.

Avant de monter le SkiErg sur un mur à espacement de montants autre que 40 cm, vous devez fournir un point d'attache solide en
fixant d'abord au mur deux plaques de montage en bois. Ces plaques en bois doivent faire au moins 3,8 cm d'épaisseur et pouvoir
recevoir les vis à double filetage (fournies dans le sac de pièces) qui fixeront le SkiErg. Vous devez fournir les fixations adaptées au
mur pour fixer ces plaques de montage.
1. Déterminez l'emplacement des montants sur la cloison. Marquez le centre des montants. Mesurez la distance entre eux.
2. Tracez 4 repères sur chaque morceau de bois à 2,5 cm du haut et 2,5 cm du bas, séparés par la distance de la structure
en bois du mur.
3. Percez des trous de passage à chacun de ces emplacements.
4. Installez les morceaux de bois de telle sorte que l'axe central de celui du haut est à 218 cm au-dessus du sol et que celui
du bas repose sur le sol. (Remarque : si vous avez une plinthe en bois, vérifiez qu'aucun fil électrique passe dans celle-ci.
Vous pourez fixer le SkiErg directement à la plinthe.si elle est assez épaisse.)
5. Vous pouvez maintenant suivre les étapes 2 à 4 des instructions précédentes de montage du SkiErg en utilisant le
matériel de fixation fourni et la clé de 1/2 po (13 mm) du sac de pièces d'assemblage du SkiErg.

Wenn Sie den SkiErg an einer Holzwand montieren und die Sparren einen anderen Abstand als 40 cm haben, müssen Sie eine
zusätzliche Verstärkung aus Holz an die Wand bringen, die an den Sparren befestigt ist. Diese Holzplatte solltemindestens 3,5
cm stark sein und Sie sollte beide Sparren überdecken. Sie müssen dann entsprechend lange Schrauben, bzw. Dübel für diese
Konstruktion besorgen.
1. Bestimmen Sie die Position der Sparren und markieren Sie die Mitte des Abstandes der beiden Sparren mit einem Bleistift.
2. Markiern Sie vier Punkte an der Holzplatte. Diese sollten jeweils 2,5 cm vom Rand entsfernt sein und direkt über den
Holzsparren sein.
3. Bohren Sie die Löcher an den Makierungen (0,5 mm Bohrer).
4. Setzen Sie die Holzplatte so an, dass sie 218 (Mitte der Längsachse) über dem Fußboden ist. Die untere Holzplatte steht
direkt auf dem Boden.
5. Jetzt folgen Sie einfach den Schritten 2 – 4 in dieser Anleitung und nutzen dafür das entsprechend mitgelieferte Werkzeug.
