Explanation of symbols
The lightning symbol inside an equilateral triangle is intended to warn of the risk of mortal electric shock or the
impairment of the appliance's electric safety. Never open the appliance!
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important instructions in the operating manual. Please read the entire
operating instructions carefully before putting the product into operation. It contains important information about
correct operation of the device.
The device contains non-short-circuit-proof isolating transformer.

We do not resume liability for resulting damages to property or personal injury, if the product has been
abused in any way or damaged by improper use or failure to observe these operating instructions. The
guarantee will then expire!
•
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product are inadmissible due to safety and approval reasons (CE).
•
The power supply is constructed in accordance with protective class I. It is suited for connection to an earthed
(230V~/ 50Hz) mains socket. Make sure the conductive ground wire is not broken, disconnected, removed or interrupted
as this can pose a lethal danger in the event of malfunction.
•
Observe also the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the device.
•
The device must only be operated in dry, indoor spaces.
•
Make sure the insulation of the entire product is not damaged or destroyed.
•
Use connecting cables of sufficient dimension and proper insulation.
•
Take care not to damage or destroy the insulations of the supply, safety jacks, connected cables and mains cables.
•
Voltages (> 35V DC) that are hazardous to touch (and represent a danger to life under unfavorable conditions) will be pro-
duced when the outputs of several power supplies are connected in series. During a malfunction, the power supply might
deliver voltages exceeding 35V DC direct current, resultiing in hazards if the power supply's rated output voltage is lower.

Do not use the power suppy as a direct or indirect charging device.
•
Supervision is necessary when operating the power supplies or their connectted loads. Take appropriate action to protect
the connected loads from the effects of the power supplies (e.g. excess voltages, failure of the power supply) and from
the effects and dangers arising from the connected loads themselves (e.g. an inadmissibly high power input).
•
During operation, do not wear metallic or conductive ornaments such as chains, bracelets, rings, etc.
•
This device is not allowed for use on human beings or animals. Do not contact the terminals directly.
•
The device must not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
•
The device must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration or dampness.
•
Position the device on a level and sturdy surface.
•
Caution! Capacitors within the device may retain their charge even if the device is disconnected from all power sources.

Voorgeschreven gebruik
Het voedingsapparaat maakt gebruik van schakelnetwerk-technologie met het bijbehorende voordeel van gewichts- en
omvangreductie. Het biedt variabele spanning voor de werking van elektrische apparatuur met extra-laagspanning. Voorts
heeft het een ingebouwde ventilator (alleen FSP 1212 en FSP 2405) om de warmtedissipatie van het apparaat te vergemak-
kelijken.
De uitgangsspanning en -stroom van de individuele voedingsmodellen zijn als volgt:

Het opgenomen vermogen van een aangesloten belasting mag het vermelde spannings- en amperage-uitgangsbereik van
de respectievelijke voeding niet te boven gaan. Alle voedingsuitgangen kunnen onafhankelijk van elkaar gebruikt worden.
Als veiligheidsmaatregel, is een geconditioneerde overbelastingsbescherming geïnstalleerd. Deze wordt actief als de maxi-
male stroom wordt overschreden als gevolg van overbelasting of kortsluiting. Het voedingsapparaat schakelt de uitgang aan
en uit. Het voedingsapparaat hervat de normale werking alleen wanneer het voedingsapparaat hersteld is, zoals bv. een
vervangen zekering, een losse kabel.
Het voedingsapparaat is opgezet overeenkomstig beschermingsklasse I. Zij is alleen goedgekeurd voor aansluiting van
schokvrije stekerbussen met een beschermende aarding en een wisselstroom van 230V~ / 50Hz.
Elk gebruik anders dan hierboven beschreven is verboden en kan het apparaat beschadigen en leiden tot daarmee verbon-
den risico's, zoals kortsluiting, brand, elektrische schok, enz. Geen enkel onderdeel van het product mag worden veranderd
of herbouwd.
Gelieve alle veiligheidsinstructies in deze handleiding te lezen en ze te bewaren voor latere referentie!
