Trouble Shooting - AFG ECO 500 Handbuch

Before placing a service call please check the
following troubleshooting tips.
Please note that if a problem attended
to under warranty is found to be caused
by incompetent installation and/or not
following the instructions in this manual
then the call may be chargeable at our
standard rate.
Machine does not fill
Machine does not start
Machine does not rinse
- Check the water supply is turned on.
- Check the water inlet hose is not trapped
or kinked.
- Check the machine is switched on.
- Drain the machine fully as per the instructions
in this manual then try again to fill the machine.
Machine fills slowly
- Check the water supply tap is fully open.
- Check the water supply pressure is above 2 bar.
- Check & clean the rinse jets.
- Ensure the water supply hose is not trapped
or kinked.
- Check that the pressure reducing valve has
not been fitted and remove if necessary.
Machine not heating
- Drain the machine fully and refill.
- Please check, if the heating time takes too
long. When filling the machine, first heats boiler
and only after reaching temperature, also the
tank heating starts.
- Check that the wash chamber is full of water.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Machine not draining
- Check and clean all filters in the machine.
- Ensure that the stand pipe/drain is free
from blockages.
Poor wash performance
- Check detergent
necessary.
- Check & clean the rinse jets.
- Check the filters are fitted correctly and clean.
- Check the water supply is fully open.
- To improve performance rinse dishes of any
food debris before placing in the machine.
- Check for water hardness – a water softener
may be required
- If a water softener is fitted then regenerate the
crystals in
instructions supplied with the softener.
Overfilling
- Drain the machine fully then try again to fill the
machine.
- Check that all the filters are clean and fitted
correctly.
- Check that the stand pipe/drain height
is correct as per the installation instructions
at the beginning of this manual.
- If the machine continues to overfill than
isolate from the mains water and electricity
prior to placing a call.
