• The automatic shut-off function can be disabled. Proceed as follows:
- Turn the current clamp off.
- Hold down the SELECT/V.F.C button (4) and turn the rotary switch (3) from the OFF
position to the desired measuring function. You will hear 5 beep tones and the <
symbol is no longer visible on the LCD display.
You will hear 5 beeps every 15 minutes when the automatic shut-off is disabled.
• The automatic shut-off will be enabled again the next time you turn the device on and off.
b) Backlight
• The current clamp features a backlight so that the LCD display can be read easily.
• Turn the backlight on by pressing the HOLD/
backlight turns off automatically after about 15 seconds.
• If you want to turn off the backlight off before the 15 seconds have passed, press the HOLD/
button (10) for about 2 seconds.
c) HOLD function
• The HOLD function holds the measurement currently displayed on the LCD so that you can
record it or read it in your own time.
