Movement sensor
The radio alarm clock has a motion sensor, which can be used to control lighting and snooze
function.
In order to activate the motion sensor, move your hand over the alarm clock.
The motion sensor recognises this movement up to a distance of approx. 30 cm.
Make sure not to activate the motion sensor during all following settings. If possible,
hold the alarm clock with one hand at the lower part of the housing.
If the display light is activated while changing the settings, wait for a moment until it
goes out.
Setting the Time Manually
If DCF reception is not possible, you can also set the time manually.
Nonetheless, the alarm clock will continue to attempt to receive the DCF time and
overwrites the manually set time after successfully receiving the signal. You can
recognise the successful DCF reception when the radio tower symbol is shown con-
tinuously in the time display (1).
• Press the "Mode" button (2) for three seconds.
• Set the flashing hour display with the ▲(5) or ▼buttons (6).
• Press the "Mode" button (2) again.
• Set the flashing minute display with the ▲(5) or ▼buttons (6).
• Press the "Mode" button (2) again.
• Set the flashing year, month and date displays, as described above using the ▲(5) or ▼but-
tons (6).
• The day of the week display is set automatically.
• Press the "Mode" button (2) again in order to save the time setting.
Language for weekday indicator
• Press and hold the ▼button (6).
• The language of the weekdays changes after several seconds.
• Release the ▼button (6) as soon as the desired language is shown.
• EN=English/GE=German/IT=Italian/FR=French/SP=Spanish
Time format
• Press the ▲button (5) briefly to change the time display (1) from 12h format to 24h format.
Second time zone
The radio alarm clock can also display the time of a second time zone. The time must be set
manually.
a) Displaying the second time zone
• Press the ▲button (5) for three seconds until an F symbol appears next to the time (1).
• Press the ▲button (5) again for three seconds to return to the normal time. The F symbol
next to the displayed time (1) will disappear.
b) Setting the Time
• Press the ▲button (5) for three seconds until an F symbol appears next to the time (1).
• Press the "Mode" button (2) for three seconds.
• Set the flashing hour display with the ▲(5) or ▼buttons (6).
• Press the "Mode" button (2) again in order to save the time setting.

Alarm function

• 2 alarm times can be set. The alarm times are shown in the alarm time display (8).
• Press the "Mode" button (2) to toggle between both alarms AL1 and AL2.
a) Setting alarm 1
• Press the
button (3) for three seconds.
• Set the flashing hour display for the alarm time AL1 with the ▲(5) or ▼buttons (6).
• Press the
button (3) again.
• Set the flashing minute display for the alarm time AL1 with the ▲(5) or ▼buttons (6).
• Press the
button (3) again.
• Set the flashing minute display for the snooze duration with the ▲(5) or ▼buttons (6). The
snooze duration can be set between one minute and 59 minutes.
• Press the
button (3) again to save the setting and activate alarm time AL1.
b) Setting alarm 2
• Press the
button (4) for three seconds.
• Set alarm AL2 in the same manner as alarm AL1.
c) Activating / deactivating the alarm
• Press the
button (3) or the
button (4) to activate the respective alarm time AL1 or AL2.
• The corresponding symbol appears in the alarm display (8) for the activated alarm time.
d) Stopping the alarm signal & snooze function
• The alarm signal sounds for approx. 4 minutes at the set alarm time.
• The snooze function (alarm repeat) can be activated with the motion sensor. The alarm
sound is then interrupted for the set snooze time. Then it will sound again.
• To switch the alarm off, press the
Illumination
As soon as the motion sensor is activated, the display light goes on for a few seconds.
Care and Cleaning
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the enclosure or even impair operation.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
• Do not press too much on the display when wiping it clean.

a) Product

te. Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory
regulations.
Remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries that may be inserted and dispose of
them separately from the product.
b) Batteries/rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all spent bat-
teries/rechargeable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and are labelled with the
symbol shown to indicate that disposal in the household waste is forbidden. The
symbols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the
marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable battery, e.g., underneath the refu-
se bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official coll-
ection points of your community, in our stores, or at places where batteries or rechargeable
batteries are sold.
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
