1. TIPS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This product requires periodic maintenance. The cleaning and
maintenance operations must only be carried out by an adult.
1.1 CLEANING
The stroller has a removable lining (please refer to the "Remov-
able lining" chapter). Please refer to the care label for instructions
on cleaning the fabric parts.
Do not use solvents or abrasive products.
Please find below the washing symbols and relative meanings.
Hand wash in cold water
Do not bleach
30° C
Do not place in a dryer
Do not iron
Do not dry clean
Use a soft cloth to clean the plastic parts on a regular basis. Al-
ways dry any metal parts that come into contact with water to
prevent the formation of rust.
1.2 MAINTENANCE
Lubricate the moving parts, if necessary, with dry silicon oil. Peri-
odically check the condition of the wheels and keep them clean
of dust and sand. Make sure all plastic parts that slide along the
metal tubes are clean and free from dust, dirt and sand; this will
avoid friction that may prevent the stroller from working properly.
Keep the stroller in a dry place.
2. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 FITTING THE FRONT WHEELS
1. Start by inserting the first wheel pin into its seat on the frame,
pushing it until it clicks into position (diag. 1). Repeat this proce-
dure for the other wheel.
WARNING: always check the wheels are locked in position by
pulling on them with a certain force before using the stroller.
2. To make the stroller even more compact when closed, you can
remove the two front wheel groups; to do this, pull the lever under
the wheel group (diag. 2) and slide the wheel out.
2.2 OPENING THE STROLLER
WARNING: when performing this operation, make sure that your
child and all other children are at a safe distance. Ensure that dur-
ing these operations the moving parts of the stroller do not come
into contact with your child.
3. Open the closure hook and push the front section of the stroller
forwards (diag. 3).
As you open the stroller, check that the backrest is in the position
indicated in diagram 4 A and not diagram 4B.
4. Use your foot to press the rear crossbar downwards (Diag. 5).
Make sure the stroller is open and properly locked in position.
WARNING: before using the stroller, ensure it is locked in the
open position, checking that the rear cross bar is locked in posi-
tion (diag. 6) and the green padlock is visible. (diag. 6A)
If the crossbar is not locked in place correctly, you will see an open
padlock with an red exclamation mark (diag. 6B).
2.3 USING THE SAFETY HARNESS
The stroller comes with a five-point safety harness which consists
in two backrest straps, two adjuster loops, a lap belt and a crotch
strap with a buckle.
WARNING: when carrying children from 0 to 6 months of age,
the backrest shoulder straps must be threaded through the two
adjuster loops on the backrest before being fastened.
5. Adjust the height of the backrest straps, threading them
through the adjuster loop as seen in diagram 7 when necessary.
After placing your child in the stroller, fasten the safety harness
by threading the two toothed ends through the backrest strap
loops (diag. 7A and 7B) and then inserting them in the crotch strap
buckle (diag. 7C); adjust the length of the harness straps until they
fit comfortably against the child's shoulders and body. To release
the lap belt, press and pull the two toothed ends.
WARNING: the safety harness must always be fastened to guar-
antee complete safety for your child.
WARNING: after removing the safety harness (e.g. to wash it),
check that the lap belts are all replaced in the correct position
threading them through the relative backrest slots. The harness
straps must then be adjusted again.
6. For extra safety, the stroller is fitted with D-rings which can
be used to fit a separate safety harness, compliant with BS 6684
Standards. The rings are fitted internally on the right and left side
of the stroller seat, as seen in diagram 8.
2.4 RECLINING THE BACKREST
The backrest can be reclined to 5 different positions.
7. Press the button on the rear of the stroller backrest to adjust the
angle; when you release the button, the backrest will lock in the
nearest set position (diag. 9).
8. Simply push the backrest upwards to raise it to the desired
height (diag. 10).
WARNING: check that the backrest is locked firmly in place.
WARNING: these operations can become more difficult when the
child is sat in the seat.
2.5 ADJUSTING THE LEG REST
The stroller leg rest can be adjusted to 2 different positions to
ensure extra comfort for your child.
9. To adjust the leg rest position, turn the 2 side levers upwards
until they lock in a horizontal position (diag. 11).
