Prior to the installation of the pressure gauge, the pipes should be thoroughly
cleaned by tapping, blowing or rinsing
The pressure gauges should be protected against contamination and high
temperature fluctuations!
The pressure gauges should be installed and operated such as to avoid
exposure to vibration. If the line to the pressure gauge is not robust enough
to prevent vibration it should be secured by means of brackets for wall
mounting.

4. Measuring assembly

The measuring arrangements that are to be preferred for specific applications
are described in DIN 19 216 and the "VdTÜV" note of instructions "flow 100".
The following illustration of the operating principle shows an arrangement
recommended for liquid media.
Differential pressure transmitters in accordance with DIN 1952 (edition 07.82),
superseded by EN 5167/1, are to be used as throttling devices.
The differential pressure lines must be made of metal. Their inside diameter
must not exceed 4 mm and the minimum effective length between valve
manifold and differential pressure gauge must be 500 mm.
