1. General

These operating instructions are based on the following information:

These differential pressure gauges are particularly intended for flow safeguarding
in heat transfer oil plants according to DIN 32 727 and in hot-water apparatus
according to VdTÜV note of instructions "flow 100". This gauge has been
designed for connection to standard throttling devices (e.g. orifice gauges,
nozzles or similar) that operate according to the differential pressure principle
and are interconnected via differential pressure lines and shut-off devices.

2. Operating principle

The j - and i - measuring
medium chambers are separated
by an elastic diaphragm.
The differential pressure causes
axial movement (measured travel)
of the diaphragm against the
measuring range spring. The
transmission of the differential
pressure proportional to the
measured travel is carried out
"pressure sealed" and with little
friction by means of a connecting
rod; to the movement and in
addition to the plungers on the
microswitches.

3. Installation instructions

The installation of the differential pressure gauge is made following the
installation recommendations for pressure gauges according to EN 837-2 /7.
Pressure connections 2 x G ¼ female, bottom, in-line, axle base 26 mm,
mounting position NL 90 acc. to DIN 16 257 (means dial upright),
thread connection male preferably acc. to EN 837-3 (chapter 7.3.2)
The permissible maximum media / ambient temperature must not be
exceeded!
