• If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it
immediately and secure it against unintentional operation by others. Safe operation is no longer
guaranteed when:
- the product shows obvious damage
- the product does not work anymore, and
- the product was stored for a long period of time under adverse conditions or
- after mishandling during transportation.
• Never switch on the product immediately after it has been moved from a cold to a warm room. That
can cause condensation to occur and to possibly damage the product. Leave the product switched off
until it has reached room temperature.
• When performing measurements on power rails and non-isolated conductors, proceed with extra
care – there is a risk of electric shock. Depending on the relevant safety regulations, wear protective
equipment (e.g. gloves, etc.) in order to avoid injuries from electric shock and electric arcs, etc.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended, as children could use it as a toy creating hazardous
situations.
• If possible, do not work alone, in order to for someone to provide help if needed.
• Observe all other safety instructions in each chapter of these instructions.
