After a few hours, if your dog continues to bark, add the short stimulations, and if this
is not enough, add the long ones.
Your dog will associate this unpleasant sensation with his barking and will relate it to
the fact that he is wearing a collar.
You do not want your dog to stop barking definitively, but to limit the disturbance
caused by excessive barking.

Operation
At the first bark, a series of six beep sounds is emitted. If another bark is detected
within 30 seconds another beep sound of 2 seconds is emitted together with a
stimulation (short or long as selected). Inhibition of any further stimulations is
dependent on the absence of any barking within the next 30 seconds.
The stimulation function can be inhibited using the switch located under the Nr1
setting mask. In this case, only beep sounds will be emitted.
In the factory, the switch is positioned in operating mode "beep sounds only".

Setting the barking detection sensitivity
The barking detection sensitivity setting is a very important preliminary operation.
This setting determines the correct operation of the product.
It ensures sure detection of any barking and helps avoid unnecessary triggering.
The setting must therefore be sufficiently but not overly sensitive.
In the factory, detection sensitivity is set at the medium position (medium sensitivity).

Checking and replacing battery
If the collar emits a continuous beep, the battery is weak.
To replace it, turn the power switch to OFF. Open the collar by removing the screw
on the cover, opposite the contact points. Remove the used battery and insert the
new one (lithium 3V CR123 A) paying attention to follow polarity indicated. Then put
the cover back in place and retighten the screw.
NOTE: due to greater use during your dog's training, the first battery may not last
as long as the following ones.
You can purchase suitable batteries at any time on www.numaxes.com.

Changing the contact points
Two different series of contact points are supplied.
The length of the contact points must be sufficient to have proper contact with the
dog's skin, enabling the device to operate correctly.
