aTTenTion: The arrow on the ratchet-
cleats must point inward.
HoiSTinG THe Gennaker
► Pull the gennaker halyard through
the upper pulley-block of the mast.
► Knot one end of the halyard, with the
ball, to the head of the sail (HEAD)
► Pull the second end through the star-
board cleat and pulley of the mast-
holder.
► Knot the guy-line to the tack (TACK).
► Pull the guy-line until the ball-knob
touches the forward end of the
bowsprit.
► Hoist the gennaker by means of the
halyard.
iMPorTanT:
The two balls limit the gennaker, how
high or low it can be used.
never fully set taut the gennaker.
