aPPliCaTion of uSe
► For sailing before the wind (from aft
quarters).
► The gennaker ist not suited for sai-
ling close to windward or wind on the
beam.
► The gennaker is foremost used in
conditions of light winds, conditions
of moderate winds require skill and
experience.
aTTenTion: in the case of use of the
Gennaker the seat cushions cannot
be used.
fiTTinG of
MaST Holder
► Screw the mast-holder to the lower
part of the mast.
fiTTinG of THe GuY-line
► The guy-line must be fed into and
through the bowsprit prior to first use.
► The guy-line must be fed into and
through the bowsprit prior to first use.
► Push the wire till the end shows up at
the hole for the jib furling line.
► Pull the wire out of the hole for the jib
furling line.
► Attach the guy-line without the ball-
knob to the forward end of the wire.
- e.g. using tape.
► Pull the wire carefully through the
bowsprit interior till the guy-line ap-
pears at the furling line hole.
