► Detach the guy-line from the cleat at
the mast.
► Loosen the gennaker-halyard and lo-
wer the gennaker.
► Stuff the gennaker into the optional
appointed lace-pouch on the fore-
deck.
► Make sure that halyard and guy-line
do not slide out.

► Pull the gennaker up by means of the
halyard, and belay it in the cleat.
► Pull the guy-line till the ball-knob tou-
ches the bowsprit forward end.
► Use the sheet to adjust the sail set-
ting.
► Stow excessive lines in the pouch for
lines on the trampoline.

Care and SToraGe

► Use lukewarm soapy water to clean-
se the sail.
► Repair holes and rips in the sail im-
mediately, so that they do not tear
further, if need be use tape.
► Use fresh water to thoroughly rinse
the gennaker after immersion in salt-
water.
► Dry the gennaker prior to storage.
► Store the gennaker at a dry place.
► Do not leave the gennaker unneces-
sarily exposed to sunlight.
