• Check the general condition of the tube bending machine before each use. Check
them for breaks, cracks, loose or missing parts and any circumstances that may affect
the proper operation of the appliance.
• Before each use, test the lifter thoroughly to ensure that it is working properly before
you actually use it. If the siphon does not seem to be working properly, follow the
instructions for bleeding.
Change the hydraulic oil at least once every three years. For changing the hydraulic oil:
1.
When the jack is fully lowered, remove the oil filler plug.
2. Tilt the pipe bender so that the old hydraulic oil can drain completely from the
housing; dispose of the old hydraulic oil in accordance with the regulations
applicable at your location.
3. Fill new hydraulic oil (not included) into the housing up to the point where it starts to
overflow, then bleed and check again whether more oil is going in.
4. Then refit the oil filler plug.
5. Clean with a clean cloth with detergent or a mild solvent and wipe dry.
