Lilienthal 40 RC
Lilienthal 40 RC is an ideal first model. The concept includes a free flying model with a
timer-operated dethermalizer as well as an RC option for rudder and elevator. Small
components keep the increase in weight to a minimum and make Lilienthal a docile model
for light wind conditions.
Precisely laser-cut parts, simple construction and the use of a special wing jig make the building
process fast and easy. Detailed building instructions with graphics and text explain every single
building step and answer all the questions you might have, so that even less experienced modellers or
beginners will be able to complete the model. Tips for your first flight as well as advice for trouble
shooting complete the manual. Construction should be according to the step-by-step instructions in
this manual. Use a sharp modelling knife to cut individual parts from laser sheets. Always check that
parts fit perfectly and correct, if necessary, before you glue. Please note recommendations below for
gluing the various materials in this kit.
Attention: Give glue sufficient time to dry before you begin with the next step.

Laser-cut parts are retained in laser sheets
by means of small tabs. Use a sharp
modelling knife to cut the tabs. Do not
remove parts by hand to avoid damage to
parts!
