2.3 Disposal
Dispose of your waste equipment at the collection point
designated by your local authority for returning and recycling waste
electrical and electronic equipment.
2.4 Marking and meaning
Power supply unit
a. 100...240 V 50/60 Hz = mains voltage
b. 24 V DC SELV = output voltage (safety extra-low voltage)
c. 90 W = rated output
d. = protection class II (all-insulated)
Easys automatic drive
e. = protection class III
f. 4 A = power consumption at maximum load
Installation advice: Connecting the power supply unit to a
switched power socket has the advantage that when switched
off small children cannot play with the system and electrical power is
not used unnecessarily on stand-by when you are away (holiday).
3. Function
Easys opens drawers and pull-outs electrically.
The drawer is moved forward by an ejection lever in response to a
push or pull on the front panel. The system is only activated by a
short push or pull. It will not open in response to a prolonged push,
e.g. as a result of leaning on it.

4. Care advice

Clean all parts of the system with a damp cloth and no further addi-
tives. Thoroughly remove any remaining moisture before putting the
system into operation.
Alkaline or acid-based cleaning products may irreparably damage sys-
tem components.
An increased risk of soiling must be expected on the visible operating
element on the front of the unit. Remove dirt deposits on the moving
metal part (slide) of the activation sensor.

5. Operation

Easys opens drawers and pull-outs automatically in response to
pushing or pulling the front panel.
• To activate Easys, give the drawer front a short push or
• the drawer handle a short pull
Note: Do not obstruct drawer or pull-out opening after activating
Easys. Do not increase the force required for opening the drawer or
pull-out by holding your hand against it. Avoid premature wear from
improper use.
