CLEANING AND DISINFECTION.
REPROCESSING
Warning
Nebulizer head and accessories (mouthpiece or mask) should be cleaned and disinfected after every
application to prevent the growth of microorganisms, which increases the risk of infection.
Limitation on processing
The accessories can be reused 300 times.
Preparation
After every use, remove the mouthpiece or mask from the nebulizer head.
CLEANING
Cleaning
Clean the nebulizer head after every application.
1. Open the top cover of the nebulizer head to pour off the residual medication. Then add tap water
into the medicine cup and gently shake, at last pour out the water.
2. Enter Cleaning Mode:
Add tap water again and close the nebulizer head. Pressing the ON/OFF button and hold for 5
seconds, the indicator will flash green means the device enters cleaning mode then you can release
the button. After cleaning for 2-3 minutes, press the ON/OFF button to stop cleaning mode (If without
any operation in clean mode process, the device will automatically shut down after 10 minutes.
During this period, if there is low voltage or no water, the cleaning will also be interrupted.
3. Disconnect the Type-C cable from the main unit if use DC power supply. Remove the nebulizer
head from the main unit. Wash and rinse the nebulizer head with distilled water, the main unit does
not need cleaning. Shake off excess water and allow parts to be fully air dried on a clean, dry towel.
Do NOT poke the mesh with finger, cotton swab or any object.
4. Use gauze or clean towel to wipe off stains on the main unit if necessary
5 . Make sure that all cleaned parts are completely dry before you store or use them.
Caution:
• The waterproof grade of the device is IPX5, the main unit can be flushed but not be immersed in
water or other liquids.
• Do NOT poke the mesh with finger, cotton swab or any object.
• Do NOT clean parts in a dishwasher.
• Do NOT use microwave to dry any parts.
• When the metal mesh is clogged severely and can't be cleaned according to the above methods,
you can try as follow one: add boiling water and a few drops of white vinegar into the medicine cup
and enter cleaning mode. If the metal mesh remains clogged, please replace the nebulizer head.
Clean the mask and mouthpiece
1.Place all disassembled parts in warm tap water (40°C-50°C ) for at least 10 min. lf necessary, use a
clean brush to remove loose dirt (the brush must be reserved exclusively for this purpose).
2.Rinse all parts thoroughly in running water ( the water flow should more than 3 liters per minute )
and each part for at least 1 min.
3.Whether disinfect immediately or not, dry all parts with a new medica gauze. You can remove
excess water more quickly by shaking them.
Caution
lnadequate disinfection encourages the growth of bacteria and thus increases the risk of infection.
Adequate cleaning with disinfection can only be assured if application time are adhered to, and if all
individual parts are completely immersed in the solution for the entire application time. There must
not be any cavities or airbubbles.
Disinfection
After cleaning, disinfect the dismantled nebulizer head and accessories used (mouthpiece or mask).
Effective disinfection is only possible if the nebulizer head and accessories have been cleaned.
Use 2.0% (ww) Hydrogen Peroxide solution to disinfect the nebulizer head and accessories.
To ensure safety when handling chemicals, follow the instructions for use of the disinfecting agent,
particularly the accompanying safety instructions.
1.Place all pre-cleaned, rinsed and dried disassembled components in undiluted 2.0% (w/w)
Hydrogen Peroxide solution. Ensure that all components' surfaces have been fully contacted with
solution.
2.Once all components have been immersed and all surfaces in contact with the disinfectant
solution, soak all components for 8 minutes. Track the soak time using a timer.
3.Rinse all components with sterile water or potable tap water.
4.Dry the parts with a new medical gauze as soon as disinfection has finished. You can remove
excess water more quickly by shaking them.
5.Dispose of the used solution.
