5. Next, place two pieces of firewood, each weighing 600 grams and with a length of 22 cm, into the stove. The wood pieces
should be placed on the bottom, parallel to the back of the stove. One piece should be positioned approximately 2 cm from
the back wall of the stove. Make sure the distance to the sides is equal. The distance between the two pieces of wood
should be about 1 cm (Figure 6).
Now close the door completely. For the next approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds, set the air control to 100% start-up
air (full primary + secondary air, Figure 7). After the mentioned 1 minute and 30 seconds, adjust the air control to full
combustion air (Figure 8). Keep the air control in this position for about 30 seconds. After approximately 30 seconds, set
the control to 50% combustion air (secondary air, Figure 9).

6. When the fire has burned down to embers, approximately after 47 minutes (See Figure 10), you can reload and start a
new fire. Begin again from step 4.
