5. CHECK AND PRE-OPERATION
Oil dipstick
Upper oil level
OIL SUPPLY
Engine oil is a major factor affecting engine performance and engine life. Non-detergent oils and two-stroke
engine oil will damage the engine and are not recommended.
Check the oil level BEFORE EACH USE.
CAREFUL! The generator does not come with oil in the engine.
Fill the engine crankcase with RURIS 4T-MAX engine oil or an API classification oil: CI-4/SL or higher, up to the
filler neck ( 0.35L ).
In the cold season of the year, it is recommended to use the oil RURIS 4T-WINTER GT SAE 10W-40 API: CI-
4/SL.
1. Disassemble the side cover, remove and clean the dipstick.
2. Check the oil level by inserting the dipstick into the filler hole without screwing it in.
3. If the level is low, fill to the top of the filler hole with the recommended oil.
4. Reposition the dipstick again.
FUEL SUPPLY.
Safety fuel handling
▪ Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive under certain conditions.
▪ Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off. Do not
smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area where the
engine is fueled or where gasoline is stored.
▪ Do not fill the fuel tank (there must be no fuel in the filler
neck). After refueling, check the tank cap. It must be closed
properly.
▪ Be careful not to spill fuel when refueling. Spilled fuel or fuel
vapors may ignite. If you spill fuel, make sure the area is dry
before starting the engine.
▪ Avoid repeated or prolonged contact with the skin or
breathing gasoline vapors.
▪ Starting the engine with repeated knocks or noise can
cause engine damage.
It is not recommended to run the engine with knocking or
noise, as it can cause damage to parts or even the machine,
this is not covered by the warranty (it is considered incorrect
use).
Use quality fuel from authorized Peco stations.
Fill with the best quality UNLEADED PETROL fuel, using a metal funnel, in open areas and away from sources
of fire or sparks that could cause a fire.
WARNING!
Do not feed on the ground or near plants, as you risk damaging the environment.
