IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Always insert fitting components
fully at right angles into the
compression jaws!
Fitting components with a large outer
diameter must to placed or moved to
the „free side".
Grease the taper of the expander
tools regularly (tube of lubricant is
supplied with the tool). Do not apply
too much grease to the taper to avoid
any grease getting into the pipe.
Attention:
Do not apply any grease to the
surface of the expansion segments
which come into contact with the
pipe!
Always insert the expander head fully
into the pipe all the way up to the
stop!
Do not tilt the expanding tool.
Do not work with damaged expansion
heads, otherwise the pipe will be
damaged. Your dealer or the REHAU
sales office will immediately provide
you with a replacement.
Ensure that the fittings are positioned
correctly in the tool! The connection
can be subjected to excessive loads
if the jaws are placed at incorrect
positions on the fitting!
Attention:
Never allow the fitting components
with a large outer diameter to make
contact with the jaw teeth as this
will significantly reduce the contact
surface for compression action.
