ASSEMBLY PROCESS

Failure to observe these instructions may result in damage to the pipe joint components, to property or in personal injury!
1. Using the pipe cutter, cut the pipe to required length at right angles and
without leaving burrs.
Attention:
Keep your hand at a safe distance away from the pipe cutter. Do not use saws
or similar equipment!
2. Push the compression sleeve over the pipe.
Attention:
The inner chamfer must point towards the joint on compression sleeves made
of metal!
3. Expansion using expanders:
Expand pipe, rotate by approx. 30° and repeat.
During this process observe a minimum distance (two compression sleeve
lengths) between the expansion head and compression sleeve.
4. Insert the fitting into the pipe up to the stop. After a short time the fitting
will sit firmly in the pipe (memory effect).
Attention:
All sealing ribs must be covered. The fitting may fall out of the pipe until the
memory effect becomes fully effective! Ensure that the fitting is in a straight
position!
5. Insert the joint fully into the compression tool.
Attention:
Do not tilt. The tool must be applied across the entire surface and at a right
angle.
