(See Figure 18-1)
I. Connect the frequency
2. Insert the test tape (TEAC MTT•I II, 3 kHz-recorded) and
play its intermediate
area.
3. Then adjust the variabie resistor inserting a high-frequency
adjustment bladed screwdriver th rough the adjustment hole
at the bottom of the motor so that the frequency counter
reads 2960
to 3000
Hz.
Should it become necessary at any time to check the align
ment of this receiver, proceed as follows;
1. Set the volume
control
(V R 109) to maximum.
2. Attenuate the signals from the generator enough to swing
the most sensitive range of the output meter.
3. Use a non-metallic
alignment tool.
4. Repeat adjustments to insure good results.
5. Set the Function
Selector
position.

• Set the signal generator to produce a signal of 400Hz, 30%,
FM modulated.

FM STEREO
Set the BandSelectorSwitch(SW I) to "FM" positionand
FM Mode SelectorSwitch (SW 205) to "stereo" position.
Before this adjustment, connect the anode side of Stereo
Indicator
(D120) to GND.
• As shown in Figures 18-4 and 18-5, make connection of
instrument.
