7 Working life

7.1 Lifting column deliverables

The RKPowerlift lifting column telescopic, rack or spindle will be delivered as an individual
component ready for operation.
The hand switch or, where applicable, controllers are not included with the lifting column.

7.2 Transport and storage

The product is to be checked by qualified staff for visual and functional damage.
Damage due to transport and storage is to be reported to the line manager and to RK Rose+Krieger
GmbH immediately.
It is forbidden to start up damaged lifting columns.
The following environmental conditions are laid down for lifting column storage:
•
no oil-contaminated air
•
contact with solvent-based paints must be avoided
•
lowest/highest ambient temperature: -20 °C/+60°C
•
relative humidity: from 30% to 75%
•
Air pressure: from 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
•
falling below the dewpoint is not allowed
•
Divergent environmental factors must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
