ROBUST - H
Application
The fan heater is approved for use at high ambient temperatures, e.g. in test areas for electronic equipment, etc. It is portable but can
also be permanently installed. If permanently installed, an isolating switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm must be provided.
The fan heater must be easily accessible for cleaning and service. If the fan heater is in a portable application, the necessary CEE
connector with the appropriate degree of protection must be fitted to the cable. The fan heater has been subjected to electrical safety
testing and is EMC tested by SEMKO. The fan heater is CE marked. Degree of protection: IP44.
Overheating
The fan heater is equipped with overheating protection with manual reset, which prevents abnormal temperature rise. In the event of
overheating, proceed as follows:
Accessories
• RTH control unit with 0-70°C thermostat for remote control, e.g. if the fan heater is installed high up on a wall (see
the wiring diagram on the cover).
Operation
Set the selector switch to the required output or set it to fan-only operation. Set the required room temperature on the thermostat
that controls the preset heat output. The fan runs continuously.

Service/Maintenance
Clean the fan heater at regular intervals, since dust and dirt could cause overheating and involve the risk of fire.

• Isolate the power supply.
• Find out why the overheating protection has tripped.
• When the fault has been corrected, reset the overheating protection
(also see Figure B).
• Begin by restarting the fan heater in the fan-only position and check
that the fan motor operates normally.
