The countdown is displayed on the Timer
display. Last minute will be displayed by sec-
onds. Active Timers on the cooking zones
are displayed with their corresponding fixed
LED (I*) at the corners of the Timer display.
When time elapses the cooking zone will
automatically switch off, the display will
show a flashing '00' and an acoustic signal
will be heard. Press any key to stop the sig-
nals.To disable the Timer of a cooking zone
select it, then press the Timer key and use
the '-' key to bring the Timer value back to
'00'. Press the corresponding Zone Selec-
tion key to confirm the settings. The corre-
sponding LED goes off.
9. CONTROL LOCK
Controls can be locked in order to prevent
any risk of unintentional changes to the set-
tings (children, cleaning operations, etc.).
To activate this function press the Lock key.
The relative LED (B*) will light up. The func-
tion remains active when the appliance is
switched off and on again.
To disable the Control Lock function simply
press the Lock key. The relative LED will go off.
10. SWITCHING A COOKING ZONE OFF
To switch a cooking zone off select it by
pressing Zone Selection key then press si-
moultaneously the '+' and '-' keys. Alterna-
tively press the [-] key to bring its level back
to '0'.
11. OVERFLOW SECURITY
Something (wet cloth or a liquid) is press-
ing any key during more than 10sec 3 short
beep will be heard and cook-top will turn
off. Also short beep will maintain heard
while the matter persist.

12. SAFETY SWITCH
The appliance has a safety switch that au-
tomatically switches off the cooking zones
when they have been operating for a certain
amount of time at a given power level.
