Cautions
on Disassembly
Follow the below-mentioned
unit and reassembling it, to keep its safety and excellent
performance:
I. Be sure to remove the power supply plug from the wall
outlet before starting to disassemble the unit.
2. Take cassette tape out of the cassette holder.
3. Take off nylon bands or wire holders where they need
be removed when disassembling the unit. After servicing
the unit, be sure to rearrange the leads where they were
before disassembling.
4. Take
sufficient
care on static
circuits and other circuits when servicing.

OF CABINET
I. Remove five screws from the cabinet (two at the right, two
at the left and one at the back), and hold up the cabinet
to detach it giving a force to its tower part. See Fig. 4—1.

I. Turn the unit over, remove five screws at the bottom plate
and shift the bottom
plate backwards to. detach it. See
Fig. 4—2.

Remove the cabinet

Remove the tape counter drive belt. See Fig. 4—3.
2.
Remove two screws from the bottom of the unit. See Fig.
3.
Remove two screws from the back of the mechanism

Pull two sockets out of the main P.W.B. See Fig. 4—3.

Pull two sockets out of the mechanism

Thus the mechanism block can be separated from the unit.

OFFRONT P ANEL
1. Remove the cabinet referring
CABINET".
2. Remove the front panel by taking out four screws from the
front panel and two screws fixing the bottom plate through
the front panel. See Fig. 4—2 and 4—4.

is necessary, use a screwdriver
