pressure is too low, the tyre could come away
from the rim.
The maximum and minimum inflation pressures
are usually indicated on the side of the tyre.
When changing tyres, only use the same kind
of tyre, with the same dimensions and the same
profile. Using different tyres may have a negative
effect on the handling characteristics of your bike.
This will potentially result in an accident.
Tyres are subject to wear. Check the tread,
pressure and condition of the sides of your tyres
regularly. Replace worn tyres before using your
bike.
Make sure you respect the dimensions of the
fitted tyre. They are indicated by standardised
references.
Quick release
The quick release handles of the wheel(s) must
be flush with the frontfork ends (frontwheel) and
frame (rearwheel) when locked.
2.4.4 Drive belt
The tension of the drive belt needs to be right to
ensure optimum results. Lack of belt tension can
lead to tooth jump or "skipping", when the teeth of
the belt slide over the teeth of the rear sprocket.
Too much tension can damage the bearings within
the rear hub, can cause the system to drag, and
can increase the wear of your drive system.
Correct alignment of the belt has to be maintained
by an appropriate mechanic
If you notice any of those situations or damages
on the belt, contact an approved O2Feel reseller.
Do not clean the belt with lubricants or high
pressure water cleaners.
2.4.5 Luggage Rack
When adding luggage on the bike, never exceed
the maximum permissible weight for the bike.
The maximum permissible weight is 125 kg
including the driver, rear and front luggage.
For this bike this maximum weight for the rear rack
is: 18 kg
The rear rack of this bike is not suitable for
carrying childseats.
Make sure to always evenly distribute load of the
luggage of the rack of the bike. Make sure the
weight is evenly devided over the width- left/right
side of the racks and if possible between the rear
and front luggage.
Unfavourable mass distribution could negatively
affect the braking behaviour and riding stability.
Weight on the rear of front luggage racks, changes
the way your pedelec behaves when riding. Take
note of the longer braking distances and the
steering that could be less stable. Practice riding
with extra load in a safe area before using on
public roads.
Luggage can not block the lights or reflectors on
the bike.
The maximum amount of passengers on the rear
luggage rack is: 1
2.4.6 Trailers
This bike is not designed to tow a trailer.
